If you purchased a home in Grayson county in 2010 and it is your primary residence don’t forget to file your homestead exemption form.  Many companies will try to solicit your business and offer to file this for you for a fee – it’s very simple and you do not have to pay someone to file it.  Simply fill it out and send to the Grayson Central Appraisal District – 205 North Travis, Sherman, Texas 75090.

If you feel you are paying too much for your taxes – that the actual value may be less than what the appraisal district has it listed at – you will want to complete the general rendition form and send it in.
